Product Details
Released in 1982, *Pornography* marked a breaking point, both personally and sonically, for Robert Smith and the band, arriving at the end of a grueling tour cycle and what Smith later described as a period of genuine psychological collapse. The dense, distortion-soaked production from Phil Thornalley and the band captures something genuinely harrowing, a record that closes out the first, darkest chapter of the Cure's catalog before Smith pulled back from the abyss.
Remastered by Robert Smith. Fiction Records. 2016.
