Product Details

The Damned's tenure on Chiswick Records in the late '70s and early '80s captured the band at a pivotal stretch, bridging their raw punk origins toward the gothic and psychedelic textures that would define their later work. Singles like "Smash It Up" and "Love Song" landed during a period when the band were proving, show after show, that they had more range than any of their first-wave peers.

UK compilation from the British Punk legends featuring the A and B-sides of all their Chiswick singles. Includes four tracks new to CD. Features early classics like 'Smash It Up', 'Love Song', 'I Just Can't Be Happy Today' and many others. Chiswick. 2011.
