Legendary poster artist Stanley Mouse created this striking print for The Heart of Town, a three-night concert series at Pier 48 in Mission Rock, San Francisco, celebrating 60 years of the music and community born in the Bay Area jam scene. Presented by the San Francisco Giants and Relix and hosted by Grahame Lesh & Friends – led by bassist/vocalist Grahame Lesh, son of Phil Lesh – the shows ran July 31–August 2 and followed Dead & Company’s Golden Gate Park performances, bringing fans together on the waterfront for late-night sets, immersive visuals, and a celebration of San Francisco’s musical legacy.

Mouse’s artwork reimagines classic skeleton-and-roses imagery: a rose-crowned skeleton raises a golden banner reading “The Heart of Town,” encircled by a wreath of roses and a lightning-bolt crest, honoring both the city and the extended family of musicians carrying this music forward. Each poster is individually numbered (1–150) and signed with Mouse’s custom signature, making it a rare keepsake from the inaugural Heart of Town celebration.

The all-star Heart of Town lineup featured: Adam Deitch, Alex Koford, Andy Frasco, Cody Dickinson, Cotter Ellis, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Duane Betts, Elliott Peck, Eric Krasno, Eric Coomes, Garrett Deloian, Griffin Goldsmith, Holly Bowling, Ivan Neville, Jackie Greene, Jake Brownstein, Jake Peavy, Jason Crosby, Jennifer Hartswick, Jeremy Hoenig, John Lee Shannon, John Kadlecik, John Medeski, John Molo, JP McLean, Kanika Moore, Karina Rykman, Karl Denson, Leslie Mendelson, Luther Dickinson, Melvin Seals, Mikaela Davis, Natalie Cressman, Nathan Graham, Neal Francis, Nicki Bluhm, Pete Sears, Reed Mathis, Sam Grisman, Scott Law, Steve Molitz, Taylor Goldsmith, Tom Hamilton, Tony Hall, and Trevor Weekz.

A perfect addition for collectors of Stanley Mouse art, Grahame Lesh & Friends fans, and anyone commemorating this historic anniversary in San Francisco.
