Las Vegas doesn't have much of a rock lineage to claim, but The Killers changed that when *Hot Fuss* arrived in 2004 and turned Brandon Flowers and company into unlikely standard-bearers for a post-punk revival that was sweeping both sides of the Atlantic. Songs like "Mr. Brightside" and "All These Things That I've Done" hit with the kind of immediate, anthemic force that made them fixtures on rock radio and festival stages for years beyond their release.

These Las Vegas youngster draw heavily on the '80s pop-rock they grew up with, and have generated and industry wide buzz on the strength of their live performances and two U.K. released singles. The first single off of their new album is "Somebody Told Me."
