Southern California punk was never short on attitude, but The Offspring's 1989 debut caught them raw and hungry, years before "Come Out and Play" made them MTV staples. Originally released on Nemesis Records, this early document shows the seeds of the melodic hardcore attack they'd refine across the decade, and it's a legitimate artifact of the West Coast punk underground at a pivotal moment.
The re-release of The Offspring's self-titled debut album helps kick off summer of 2001! Tracks: "Elder," "Tehran," "Blackball," "Kill the President," "Jennifer Lost the War" and more!
