Frank "Son" Seals came up hard in Osceola, Arkansas, learning from his father's juke joint and later from Albert King himself. His Alligator debut captured a raw, unvarnished Chicago electric blues that never chased trends, just dug deeper into the tradition he'd inherited firsthand from some of the music's genuine architects.
