Recorded live to tape over five days at Elektra Sound Recorders in Los Angeles in May 1970, Fun House captured the Stooges at their most feral and unfiltered, with saxophonist Steve Mackay's free jazz fury pushing the second side into territory that punk and no wave would spend decades trying to catch up to. The rawness here was intentional; producer Don Gallucci let the band play as loud as they did onstage, and the room sound is as much an instrument as anything Iggy or the Asheton brothers brought.

Audiophile release of the 1970 proto-punk classic album cut from original analog masters by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and pressed on 180g at Optimal. 4-panel insert featuring liner notes by Iggy Pop.
