Product Details

The Veils built a devoted following through relentless touring and a reputation for volatile, emotionally raw live performances, with frontman Finn Andrews channeling a confessional intensity that drew comparisons to Nick Cave and early Scott Walker. Sun Gangs, released in 2009, marked a more expansive sonic leap for the band, balancing dark orchestral textures against Andrews' distinctive baritone in ways that cemented their cult status on both sides of the Atlantic.

Their third album, following a very busy period. They recorded a 10-track album with Graham Sutton (Jarvis Cocker, British Sea Power) and Bernard Butler (Duffy, Black Kids), and filmed video accompaniments to their music with Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds). Look for this UK / Kiwi four-piece on tour this spring.
