Adam Granduciel wrote much of *Lost In The Dream* while working through a period of personal isolation and anxiety, and that emotional weight permeates every layer of the record's dense, patient arrangements. The Philadelphia band's knack for marrying Springsteen-esque heartland rock with Dylanesque atmospherics finds its fullest expression here, drawing in listeners who live for the slow build and the long ride home.

Lost in the Dream is the third album from American indie rock four-piece War on Drugs and follows their 2011 release, Slave Ambient. Recorded by frontman Adam Granduciel over a period of two years, the album sees the group deliver a fully rounded collection of blue-collar indie rock.
