Timbaland & Magoo – Welcome To Our World (CD)
Timbaland & Magoo CDs
Product Details
Timbaland was already rewriting the rules of hip-hop production by 1997, and this debut captured that restless sonic invention at its most raw and collaborative. The Virginia Beach scene that birthed this record, Missy, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, and the whole Goldmind/Blackground constellation, represented one of the most creatively fertile moments in late-90s R&B and hip-hop, and Magoo's laconic delivery was the perfect foil for beats that nobody else on earth could have made.
Reissue. Welcome To Our World is the debut studio album by the Norfolk, VA duo Timbaland & Magoo. First released in 1997 by Blackground Records, the platinum selling album features guest appearances from artists such as Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, and Playa. Known as a classic among duos in Hip-Hop history, the album features singles such as "Up Jumps Da Boogie," "Clock Strikes," & "Luv 2 Luv Ya."
