Product Details
Undertow arrived in 1993 as one of those records that rewired listeners before anyone had the vocabulary to describe what they were hearing. Tool's debut full-length rooted itself in the tensions between restraint and explosion, with Maynard James Keenan, Adam Jones, Paul D'Amour, and Danny Carey building something that drew as much from progressive rock's patience as from metal's physicality. The band that would eventually fill arenas built their foundation here.
