Product Details
Towa Tei has spent three decades operating at the intersection of groove and atmosphere, from his days shaping the euphoric house-pop of Deee-Lite into a genuine cultural moment to a solo catalog that moves freely between club electronics, ambient texture, and Tokyo pop sensibility. Zambient leans into the quieter, more meditative side of that range, arriving in a year when his creative pace shows no signs of slowing.
Towa Tei, the musician who made his debut in 1990 as a member of DEEE-LITE and continues to work across a wide range of fields, will release "ZAMBIENT," his 14th solo album, just one year after his previous album "AH!!" On the track "NOTHING ELSE 2," Bose of Scha Dara Parr appears on rap, reconstructing an existing song from a different angle. The yet-to-be-revealed jacket artwork also strongly reflects Towa Tei's distinctive sense of beauty, so please look forward to it.
