Product Details

Stockholm's Viagra Boys have spent the better part of a decade turning post-punk inside out, with frontman Sebastian Murphy's spoken-word provocations and the band's loose, saxophone-laced grooves earning them a devoted following far beyond the Swedish underground. Viagr Aboys finds them leaning into the absurdist humor and raw sonic sprawl that made Cave World such a jolt, but with a self-aware wink at their own mythology.

The sound of saxophones from on high, the splash of paint on canvas, the clang of the auctioneer's gavel - the Viagra Boys have returned, and they're ready to cash in. Having braved the darkest, most paranoid recesses of the human condition on their previous LP Cave World, these shrimp-addled prophets come bearing hard-won treasures ready to be easily-won by the highest bidder.
