Product Details

Wale has spent two decades navigating the tension between critical respect and mainstream recognition, building a catalog that rewards close listeners willing to meet him on his own terms. The Washington D.C. native's deep roots in go-go music and his unfiltered approach to self-examination have always set him apart from his peers, and this release finds him leaning fully into that earned perspective.

“everything is a lot.” marks Grammy Award nominee Wale’s most reflective and vulnerable artistic era. Sitting in between the intersection of legendary and misunderstood – through this album he’s claiming why he deserves his throne, while simultaneously pulling back the layers on who he is beneath the surface. The campaign will champion his legacy, educate his audience (new and old) and champion his African heritage.
