The Weirdos were one of the first-wave LA punk bands who never quite got their due outside the underground, but among those who know, their catalog carries serious weight. *Weird World Volume 1* collects early recordings that capture the band's chaotic energy and art-damaged edge, a reminder that the LA punk scene of the late '70s was far stranger and more inventive than the mythology usually admits.
