This page is for the collector who already knows what they want: not just vinyl, but the right pressing in the right color, whether that is a tie-dye swirl, a splatter variant, or an opaque green that will never be made again.
The colored vinyl section of the Relix store currently holds more than 1,800 titles. Among them: Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country The Relix Session on Cosmic Tie-dye 2xLP; the Jerry Garcia Band's Cats Under The Stars on Relix Green Eco-mix LP; Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country Horizons on Relix Red 2xLP; Circles Around The Sun The Relix Session on Red LP; Widespread Panic Live from Austin, TX on Splatter 2xLP; the Bear's Sonic Journals release of the Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East on Orange Sunshine 2xLP; the Grateful Dead Steal Your Face (Spirit of '76) on Grateful Red and Stealie Blue 2xLP; Bob Weir Kingfish Kingfish on Teal Marbled LP; Mikaela Davis and Southern Star The Relix Session on Sunflower Splatter 2xLP; and The Claypool Lennon Delirium The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy on Opaque Green 2xLP. Splatter and marble pressings are one-time production runs: once the pressing plant closes the order, those colors do not come back.
Why buy from Relix
Relix has been covering the Grateful Dead, Phish, and the wider jam and roots world since 1974. That history shapes what ends up in this store. The Relix Sessions series documents live performances by artists in the Relix orbit and releases them on vinyl, often in limited colored pressings that reflect the spirit of the recording. When we stock a variant, it is because it connects to music and artists we have written about, interviewed, and followed for decades, not because an algorithm flagged it. That context is baked into every title on this page.
All records here are new and factory sealed. Pre-order titles display a street date on the product page and ship as soon as the label makes them available. Vinyl orders are packed in protective packaging built specifically for LPs.
To keep exploring, the New Releases and Pre-Orders page surfaces what is arriving soon across formats, and the Rock Vinyl section goes deep on that end of the catalog.
